A carrier-locked phone can only use SIM cards from the carrier that sold it. You need an unlocked phone to use Jabber Wireless.
How to check if your iPhone is unlocked
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll down to Carrier Lock. If it says No SIM restrictions, your phone is unlocked.
